L.C.B Contractors Limited is a leading and reputable Construction Company serving the Freeport area.  

LCB Contractors Limited was incorporated on November 21st, 1994 and is involved in major Civil Construction principally Infrastructure Development, Road rehabilitation, Construction of new Roads, Housing Developments, and General Building Works.  LCB Contractors Limited was founded by our Chairman - Mr. Jameel Baksh who is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Fellow of the Association. Mr. Baksh has successfully established the organisation and propelled the direction over the years to become one of the leading contractors within today’s industry.

  Our contracts and administration department is lead by our Managing Director, Mrs. Carlene Mohammed-

Baksh who  currently holds a B.A. (Hons) in Business Management from the University of Sunderland and is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Strategic Planning. Mrs. Mohammed-Baksh has been with our organisation since the year 2006 when the company started exponential growth and has grown with the organisation to lead the Business Administration, Finance and Contract Management aspects.

Also significantly contributing to our success, is our Director Ms. Anisa S. Baksh: LL.B (Hons), LEC, LL.M, who holds a Bachelors of Law Degree with Honors from the University of the West Indies, and a Masters Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law. Ms. Baksh has been with the company since 2016, and has always provided sound Legal advice and support throughout the organization. Her involvement has not only been limited to our legal aspects, but in our operations, and her exemplary leadership skills and Strategic Management.

  The company commenced operations with an initial goal of pursuing housing projects exclusively. During its first six (6) months of operations, the owners and advisers of the company engaged in a comprehensive review of the company’s goal and took a careful decision to expand its objective(s) based on overview of projects carded for national development. Added to our core business at an early stage commensurate with strategic business goals and activity, were both heavy/light equipment and plant capability to execute large scale civil works. Our liquidity and profitability positions are excellent and in line with sound financial and operational management strategies. The Company is also supported by a team of highly skilled and experienced engineering, project management, operations and accounting professionals. The combined experience of the team is well over thirty-five (35) years in the construction industry. The company’s structure is designed to cover pre and post contract administration, construction planning management and execution supported by strong systems of accounting, procurement and operation.

  As can be viewed from the Major Construction Projects, the  company has executed a reasonable number of activities and has successfully enjoyed a dramatic growth rate through very prudent financial management, engineering, fast pace learning curve techniques, organized systems, structures and excellent quality methods as it relates to its personnel, suppliers, clients and other major stakeholders. The company has a track record of providing high quality service to its clients and takes pride in delivery well within contractual deadline dates, yet maintaining and improving overtime, its bottom line.
